Norwalk, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Norwalk man already behind bars in New York State on sexual assault charges there is back in Connecticut to face similar charges.
Francisco Javier Gomez, 22, was arrested in 2024 and pled guilty in Putnam County, New York for traveling there to engage in sex with a 13-year-old.
New York authorities uncovered evidence that linked Gomez to similar crimes in Norwalk involving four minors.
He now faces multiple counts of sexual assault, possession of child pornography, employing a minor in an obscene performance, risk of injury, and illegal sexual contact.
Gomez was arraigned on Wednesday and bond was set at $250,000.
