Killingly, Conn./WTIC Radio - The National Weather Service has determined the storm that rolled through Killingly Wednesday en route to Rhode Island was a tornado.
Investigators were out earlier today to study debris that made the final determination.
The team is still trying to figure out if it was a continuous path or separate touchdowns.
They will also determine a final EF rating and the path and size of the storm.
Alerts went out just after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Killingly fire chief Travis Vandale said nearly a dozen trees were knocked down.
No injuries were reported.
