West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - State and local police are at the scene of an apparent officer involved shooting incident in West Hartford.
Troopers, local officers, and the state Office of Inspector General at investigating in the 900-block of New Britain Avenue, near the Town Fair Tire store.
Authorities say there is no threat to the public.
They are asking the public to avoid the area for the time being while the investigation unfolds.
