Enfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - A woman was killed Monday in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 in Enfield.
State police say around 2:45 p.m., two drivers were stopped on the southbound side of the highway at exit 46 after an earlier crash.
The driver of a third vehicle hit one of the two stopped vehicles from behind, police said.
A passenger in that vehicle, Sabria Hardy, 38, of Bloomfield, was taken to Hartford Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the one Hardy was in was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The third person involved in the crash declined medical treatment.
The highway was shut for several hours as troopers processed and cleared the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
