Hamden, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Hamden are investigating a Saturday homicide.
They say around 11:30 a.m., officers responded to an area of Mix Avenue where they found an unresponsive person in a car.
A preliminary investigation suggests the victim traveled to that area to meet someone.
That's when three suspects approached the vehicle and one entered, opening fire, say police.
The other suspects fired at the vehicle before they took off on foot.
Police say they are following up on several leads.
The victim's name hasn't been released.
