Overnight parking ban now in effect in Bristol

(WTIC Radio) - Bristol Police are letting residents known about the overnight parking ban that's now in effect until next spring.

In anticipation of winter storms and road clearings, no vehicles are to be left on any city street between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Parking tickets per overnight violation are $20.00.

The fine doubles after 7 days and triples after 14 days.

The overnight parking ban ends on March 15, 2024.

Anytime a winter storm occurs, residents need to make sure their sidewalks are cleared of snow after each storm.

If the storm ends between the hours of 3 a.m. and 9 p.m., all sidewalks must be cleared within 12 hours.

If the storm ends between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., all sidewalks must be cleared within 9 hours.
