West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in West Hartford have released the name of the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle Saturday evening.
David Goldfarb, 80, was a West Hartford resident.
Investigators say just before 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Goldfarb was struck in the area of Albany Avenue and Mohegan Drive.
He was rushed to an area hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The vehicle and operator remained on scene.
The West Hartford Police Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating.
