Southington, Conn./WTIC Radio - A woman is in the hospital after Southington police say she was struck by a vehicle Monday night.
At around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the scene at West Street and Jude Lane.
They say the 32-year-old victim was walking south in the southbound lane of West Street when she was struck.
She's in serious condition at an area hospital with what police describe as injuries to the head and lower extremities.
The driver continued to his residence and contacted police.
They say he is cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
