NORWICH, CONN (WTIC Radio)-Police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon homicide that claimed the life of a city man.
Police responded to Sandy Lane at 1:40, on a report of a person shot. They discovered Jabezz Norman Clack, 19, of Norwich suffering a gunshot wound to the chest. He died two hours later at William Backus Hospital.
Police said the case is being investigated as a homicide and Norman-Clack was the intended target.
Police are searching for a person of interest for questioning. He's identified as Stancovitch Fabre, 19, also of Norwich. He's driving an older model two-door red Mustang, patched with grey bondo in various places. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
