PLAINFIELD, CONN (WTIC Radio)-Plainfield police are looking for the suspect who robbed two local restaurants and caused
considerable property damage early Monday morning, police said.
Police, reviewing video surveillance, believe a suspect drove up to Mr. Z's restaurant on Norwich Road just after 2:30 in a black SUV.
The operator, believed to be a white male, parked the vehicle alongside the building. He then exited the vehicle and forced entry into the restaurant.
The suspect wore a light-colored zip-up sweatshirt, jeans, under armor sneakers, surgical mask, glasses and gloves.
Police said the robber stole a significant sum of money and then caused damage to the property before leaving.
Minutes later, video surveillance shows the same vehicle entering the Big Y Plaza. The suspect then proceeded to the rear exit
door to Hong Kong Star. Police said the robber stole a significant sum of money, before leaving the scene.
