Westport, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Westport are investigating after they say flyers with antisemitic messaging were found in town last week.
The flyers were discovered in driveways in a residential neighborhood.
Police say the wording included, in part, the statement that "Every single asset of abortion is Jewish.”
The author goes on list prominent Jewish men who they say are behind the easing of restrictions in terminating a pregnancy and contraceptive availability.
“I am grateful to the Police for managing this latest issue with expediency and professionalism. Westport will use all of its available resources to combat this hate and to strongly message that these statements and sentiments do not have a place here in Westport,” said First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker.
Police are asking anyone living in the area of Patrick Road to check surveillance camera footage captured between July 19th and 20th and report any suspicious activity.
