Plainfield, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A teenage couple from Putnam faces charges after a concerned parent contacted authorities regarding an adult threatening her minor child to receive payments to participate in illicit photographs and videos of herself and to distribute for money, according to Plainfield Police.

After obtaining a Search and Seizure warrant from Danielson Superior Court, an investigation began in April, resulting in the discovery of electronic devices and a large quantity of narcotics.

It revealed that Stacia Sotiropoulos, 18, and Jaden Williams, 18, of Putnam, employed the minor for illicit videos of herself to send to adults for money.

Both Sotiropoulos and Williams were placed under arrest Friday night, police said.
