Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Waterbury are investigating a fatal Saturday night crash.
Officers says around 8:16 p.m., they responded to the area of 1155 Thomaston Avenue upon reports of a crash.
When they arrived, police found the female driver of a Hyundai Sonata that had struck a utility pole dead.
She was they only person in the vehicle, police say.
Investigators say there was heavy rain in the area at the time of the crash.
