West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in West Hartford are reporting an incident Thursday in which a juvenile walking home from school was followed by a suspicious person in a vehicle at the intersection of Kirkwood and Bainton Roads.
Between 3:30 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, detectives say the student stepped off the school bus and shortly thereafter was followed by a driver in a blue sedan.
The juvenile ran to a nearby residence when the driver, an older gray haired male, rolled the window down and told them to get in.
The child was not harmed.
Police are using surveillance footage in their investigation and ask anyone with possible useful video to contact West Hartford police.
