Hartford, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Hartford say a man was stabbed early this morning.
Officers received the call around 5:45 a.m. the area of 156 Edgewood Street for a man suffering from several stab wounds.
The victim in his 20s was conscioius and alert and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
Police say the stabbing occurred during an altercation at an after hours party at a private residence.
There's no word on the victim's condition or whether police have any suspects in mind.
The Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are leading the investigation.
