Postal supervisor in Middletown admits to stealing packages

A postal supervisor in Middletown has admitted to stealing packages.

Zoheb Deura, 34, of Stratford, has pleaded guilty to a charge of embezzlement of mail by a U.S. Postal Service employee.

Federal Prosecutors say Deura stole various Apple-branded packages between February and April 2020. Packages contained an Apple computer, gaming devices, an iPhone, and more.

Deura faces a maximum term of five years in prison when sentenced on January 13, 2021.

Deura has resigned from the Post Office and is free, pending sentencing.
