REDDING, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Redding Police arrest a man who allegedly entered a woman's bedroom early Friday morning.
Police are charging Troi Barnes, 29, of Ansonia, with home invasion, burglary, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, threatening, reckless endangerment, and criminal attempt at sexual assault.
The woman says she woke up around 2 a.m. to a masked man in her bedroom at a home on Sport Hill Road.
She was able to fight the suspect off.
Barnes was picked up two houses away from the house of the caller.
Police say an abandoned vehicle connected to Barnes was later found.
Bond is $1,000,000.
