Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Waterbury police are investigating a hit-and-run crash from Thursday night involving the operator of a motorized scooter and a motor vehicle.
It was just before 7:30 p.m. that police were called to the area of Meriden Road and Enoch Street.
Investigators say they found the male scooter operator suffering from life-threatening injuries.
They say the driver of the vehicle fled the scene before they arrived.
The victim is in the hospital, listed in critical but stable condition.
Police say they did find the vehicle that was involved in the crash and are looking to identify the driver.
