Westbrook, Conn./WTIC Radio - The search for a missing canoeist from Westbrook continues.

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says Andrew Corbett, 38, was last seen on the night of July 30 around 11:00 p.m. in a Groton CVS.

Corbett's vehicle was later found at Messerschmitt Pond and a search was launched last Friday.

His overturned canoe was found on the pond.

State and EnCon Police, as well as other surrounding agencies are involved in the search for Corbett.

DEEP says operations are shifting from a full-scale search to a smaller "monitoring-focused presence" at the pond.

Anyone with any information that can aid in the search is asked to call the DEEP Dispatch at 860-424-3333 and ask for Investigator Reilly.
