WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police are searching for an escapee who eluded Windsor Locks Police during a pursuit.
Windsor Locks Police say they learned Bruce Michaud, 36, was staying at a hotel in the area of the Ella Grasso Tpke in town. He is wanted by State Police on the charge of escape in the first degree.
Police tried to stop Michaud as he drove a grey 2019 Subaru Impreza, bearing bearing Connecticut registration BH27022.
As police attempted to stop the vehicle, Michaud allegedly engaged police in a pursuit, which ended in Enfield.
Neither Michaud nor the vehicle have been located.
Michaud has a criminal history which includes arrests for narcotics, sale of narcotics, criminal possession of a firearm, violation of probation, burglary and assault.
