Norwalk, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Norwalk are investigating a Saturday night shooting in the city.
Officers were dispatched to an area on Fairfield Avenue just before 7:30 p.m.
Once on scene, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The victim was transported to Norwalk Hospital where he underwent surgery and is reported to be in stable condition.
Detectives canvassed the area with the assistance of a police K9 handler.
They did recover two shell casings and are reviewing video of the incident.
