There shall not be any more grass on the green. Not in the Connecticut community of Simsbury, whose Board of Selectmen has now voted to ban marijuana smoking on the town's public golf course.
Not just there. The board's ban also covers parks, trails, playgrounds, government buildings and sidewalks.
Breaking the rules risks a fine of $100.
The vote came after speakers called for preventing Simsbury's image as being the summer home of the Hartford Symphony and the Talbot Music Festival from getting lost in clouds of cannabis smoke.
