GROTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A skunk tests positive for rabies in Groton.
The Ledge Light Health District, in New London, says a skunk found in Bluff Point State Park in Groton was tested and found to be positive for rabies on Thursday.
A raccoon tested recently in Gales Ferry, part of New London, also tested positive for rabies, as announced earlier this week.
Health officials recommend that people refrain from feeding or approaching any wild or stray animals.
