WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A small earthquake shook West Hartford before dawn Friday.
Residents reported hearing and feeling the quake around 1:15 a.m.
The U.S. Geological Survey says it was a 1.9 magnitude quake, centered in the area of Tunxis Road.
There were no reports of injury or damage.
Earthquakes are not unheard of in Connecticut.
A rash of small quakes shook Plainfield in 2015. In August 2011, a quake centered in Virginia was felt widely throughout Connecticut.
