Southington, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Southington night spot that had been the scene of past trouble is shutting its doors for good.

75 Center says on its Facebook page "due to unfortunate circumstances we are going to be locking our doors Wednesday, July 3rd for the last time."

Fights and other disturbances had broken out in the past, including one this past March in which a pair of bouncers were injured in a double stabbing.

They were trying to eject the combatants as the fracas spilled out on to Center Street.

One bouncer was stabbed in the face and pepper sprayed.

The bar's license to sell alcohol was suspended in light of that incident.

At the time, police said there'd been no fewer than nine reported disturbances at the club in the last year alone.
