
Stamford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Stamford are charging a teacher with sexual assault after he allegedly inappropriately touched 12 juvenile students.
Under arrest is Andrew Park.
Police say they launched their investigation after they were notified by the state Department of Children and Families.
It was during their investigation that police say that 12 students from Strawberry Hill Elementary School disclosed that they were touched by a male teacher identified as Park.
He was arrested Friday in Norwalk after police executed a search and seizure warrant.
Park faces a dozen counts of sexual assault and risk of injury.
Bond was set at $175,000 and he's due on court Monday.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, pending any additional victims and results from searched items.
