Middletown, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police have released final traffic numbers from their Memorial Day holiday weekend enforcement that began Friday and concluded at midnight.
A total of 4,017 calls for service were logged.
Troopers conducted 810 total traffic stops.
In addition, they investigated 296 crashes, 14 with injuries.
One person was killed in a crash in Windsor.
Also, 20 people were arrested on DUI charges.
State police typically stress that although the official holiday period has ended, their traffic enforcement measures will continue as the summer driving season approaches and beyond.
