Governor Lamont's re-election campaign calls it an ah-ha moment about Bob Stefanowski's stance on abortion. Stefanowski said at on Thursday, "abortion should be limited to the first trimester." The Republican challenger now says he misspoke when he made the comment at a forum. He explained that "Roe v Wade is codified into Connecticut state law," and "will not change as long as I'm governor. Period." Too late, says the Lamont campaign, which says Stefanowski has come clean and admitted he wants to limit abortion access in Connecticut.
