New London, Conn./WTIC Radio - New London firefighters had their hands full with a fire at a storage facility on Saturday.
The call came into 10 Walker Street just after 1:00 p.m.
There was heavy fire in two units upon arrival.
The fire had spread to adjacent units before firefighters were able to gain the upper hand.
They say the fire did spread into the attic.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators say the fire appears to have started when a mechanic, who removed a fuel tank from a vehicle, accidentally splashed gasoline on to a halogen light.
