Vernon, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A South Windsor man faces robbery and other charges for allegedly robbing the Subway Restaurant on Hartford Turnpike, police said.
Police said the incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police received information that the robber drove a grey Toyota Siena. Police located the vehicle and the driver, Justin Richard, 38, of South Windsor.
Detectives interviewed Richard and they said he confessed to his involvement in the case.
Richard was taken into custody, facing robbery, larceny and breach of peace charges. He's scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court tomorrow.
