FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Fairfield Police make arrests in connection with an armed robbery and home invasion in town early Thursday morning.
Police say the suspects went into a home in the area of Candlewood Road and Black Rock Turnpike around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
An investigation that spanned hours led Police to say all suspects, including a person of interest from Hamden, were taken into custody or detained.
No injuries have been reported.
There's no word if anything was stolen or not in the process.
Due to the proximity to the incident and out of an abundance of caution, McKinley Elementary School and Fairfield Warde High School have been closed.
