
Southington, Conn./WTIC Radio - Southington police are reporting a pair of early morning robberies in town Sunday.
At around 4:55 a.m., police say three suspects entered a Queen Street Shell gas station and demanded the employee open a cash register, before they made off with money and cigarettes.
It was while responding to that incident that police received a second 911 call about a similar crime at a 7-Eleven on Queen Street.
That crime also netted the robbers cash.
The getaway vehicle is described as a Hyundai Tucson with a Connecticut registration of BJ35331.
That vehicle has reportedly been used in several robberies and thefts, including in Newington and Cromwell.
Anyone with any information or who may have seen the suspect vehicle is asked to contact police.
