Investigators say the first fire occurred January 24 at 30 Montano Road.

The second occurred Tuesday night in the same general area, 8 Dover Road.

They're still trying to determine if the fires are related.

Police say they're stepping up patrols.

They also advise residents to keep lights on around properties.

Authorities urge citizens to report any suspicious activity, even if they think it's not important.

And if anyone has surveillance cameras around their home or business, they should check them from February 14 at 11:00 p.m. to February 15 at 2:00 a.m., and register the footage with police to help in the investigation.

Those with information should contact Enfield police at 860-763-8937 or gcastle@enfield.org.
