MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection closes Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown to swimmers due to bacteria in the water.
Retesting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. Results are expected on Thursday.
All other inland and shoreline swimming area remain open.
Mashamoquet Brook State Park is closed due to ongoing maintenance.
