Stamford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Stamford police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.
Detectives say around 8:30 Tuesday night, a 2000 BMW motorcycle operated by an 18-year-old city resident collided with a 2024 Toyota Rav 4.
The bike driven by Ahmed Basic was headed north on High Ridge Road.
The Rav 4 was attempting to turn on to Loveland Road from High Ridge Road.
Basic sustained life-threatening injuries and later died at Stamford Hospital.
A passenger on the motorcycle suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The occupants of the Toyota were also treated for non life-threatening injuries.
