AVON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Avon Place Tenant Union, a chapter of the Connecticut Tenants Union, enters into a collective bargaining process with Empire Realty.
The union’s bargaining committee met with an Empire Realty representative, established terms for the bargaining process, and scheduled a second session with the principal owner, Ahron Rudich.
The bargaining session occurred just weeks after tenants at the Avon Place Apartments first announced their super-majority tenant union, on August 11th.
Residents have been critical of living conditions at the Avon Place Apartments.
WTIC has requested comment from Empire Realty about the conditions at the forefront of the residents' complaints.
