Waterbury, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A convicted felon with a lengthy criminal record faces home invasion and weapons charges for an incident Sunday afternoon, Waterbury Police said.
Police responded to Valentino Drive just after 4:30 on a report of an attempted home invasion. Police said a man attempted to enter a residential home with the family inside.
Police said while canvassing the area they located Wayne Early, 36, walking back to a disabled vehicle. That vehicle fit the description of one involved in the incident.
Police confirmed that was the vehicle and Early was the primary suspect.
He now faces various charges for weapons, home invasion and evading responsibility.
Early's bond is $1,000,000.
