Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A third case of measles has been reported in Connecticut.
According to the state Department of Public Health, the case involves an adult from Hartford County who recently traveled abroad.
That person was admitted to the hospital with a high fever and a rash.
There've been nearly 2,800 cases of measles reported in the U.S so far this years.
That's the most since 1991.
In a statement, the CDC reports "94 percent of this year's cases are outbreak-associated and that approximately 93 percent of patients nationally were unvaccinated or had unknown vaccination status."
