Hartford, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - They ran the 29th edition of the Eversource Hartford Marathon on Saturday.
Over 8,000 laced up their running shoes and took part in the 26.2-mile trek through Hartford, West Hartford, East Hartford, and South Windsor.
It was a local man who came out on top.
Everitt Hackett of Hartford finished with a top time of 2 hours 24 minutes 37 seconds.
For the women, top honors went to Alexandra Niles of Monclair, New Jersey, with a top time of 2 hours 43 minutes 24 second.
