MANCHESTER, CONN. (WTIC RADIO)-Police arrested three people and seized two firearms after a fight at the Empire Hookah Lounge on Broad Street.
Police determined this morning that four people were entering a vehicle and one displayed a firearm as it fled the scene. The first arriving officer located the vehicle, initiating a traffic stop.
Two of those arrested, Richard Ortiz, 23, and Wesley Vasquez-Santana, 31, are from Meriden. Both each possessed firearms illegally. They face breach of peace and weapons charges. Both appear in court on Monday. A third person, Desmond Davis, 22, was wanted on two active arrest warrants. He was turned over to Newington Police.
