HAMDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - There's increased security at the Wintergreen Magnet School in Hamden, where police say a trespasser injured a custodian early Tuesday morning. The trespasser, seen walking the school hallways in a surveillance image released by police, had not been found as of late afternoon.
Police say that when he arrived at work, the custodian found an "unknown male" inside the school. When asked to leave, the trespasser allegedly assaulted the custodian, then stole his wallet, keys and vehicle. The victim was hospitalized with facial injuries.
