GRISWOLD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A trucker from Massachusetts was killed when his tractor trailer crashed on Interstate 395 in Griswold late Thursday night.
Kevin Scott, 64, of Pepperell, Mass. was killed when his rig lost control, went through a guardrail, went down an embankment and slammed into a tree on the southbound side of the highway near Exit 24, said police.
Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
State police are seeking witnesses to the crash, which occurred around 10 p.m. Anyone who witnessed it is urged to contact Troop E in Montville at 860-848-6500.
