New London, Conn./WTIC Radio - President Trump is set to deliver the keynote address to graduating cadets at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London Wednesday.
The city spent Tuesday getting ready for Trump's visit.
The last president to address the graduating class was Joe Biden in 2021.
Trump delivered the speech once before, during his first term, in 2017.
Security is expected to be tight.
About a dozen roads near the graduation site are expected to be impacted.
There will be a designated area for protestors at McKinley Park as well as on Williams Street.
The 145th Commencement Exercises get underway at 11:00 a.m. on Cadet Memorial Field.
