PLAINFIELD, CONN. (WTIC Radio)-Two men face assault and other charges, accused of striking a pedestrian with a gel blaster, Plainfield police said. A gel blaster is a toy gun similar to an airsoft rifle.
The pedestrian said the shots were fired from a passing vehicle.
Police later arrested Damian Heath, 22, of Danielson and Aaron King, 23, of Norwich.
They face assault, weapons and breach of peace charges. The incident occurred in the area of South Main Street in Moosup Village, Thursday night just before 9:30.
After police stopped the suspect vehicle, they recovered two loaded gel blaster surge shooting devices.
