(NEW HAVEN--WTIC NEWS) Two New Haven residents have been charged in connection with a shooting incident last Saturday.
Police say Walter Casteel, 34, and Demont Simuel, 33, were engaged in an argument with a group of other people when Casteel, at Simuel's urging, fired a gun at them in a bar in the area of Thompson and Division Streets.
There were no injuries.
Police apprehended Simuel Wednesday and Casteel on Thursday.
Casteel was found trying to hide in the basement of a Judson Avenue residence.
Both suspects are each being held on $500,000 bond.
