East Granby, Conn./WTIC Radio - The town of East Granby is mourning the loss of two of its residents to apparent gunfire.
State Police say just before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, the bodies of 49-year-old Thomas Jacius and 48-year-old Doreen Jacius were found.
Both had sustained gunshot wounds.
Neighbors reported hearing gunfire in the area of 50 Wynding Hills Road.
The East Granby Public Library Facebook page says Doreen Jacius was its director.
Thomas Jacius was a 24-year veteran of the Avon Police Department, according to a press release.
State Police are leading the investigation
