NORTH WINDHAM, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut State Police arrest two suspects in a home break-in in North Windham.
State Police say that around 12:21 a.m. on Sunday, May 9, two suspects entered an occupied home.
Daniel Castro, 21, and Gabriel Pineada-Calixto, 21, both of Willimantic, are accused of breaking into a home on Larrow Drive.
The two homeowners, who were home at the time of the break in, chased the two suspects away.
Police investigated and developed Castro and Pineada-Calixto as suspects.
Castro is charged with burglary in the first degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, larceny in the sixth degree, assault in the third degree, and reckless endangerment in the second degree.
Pineda-Calixto is charged with burglary in the first degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, larceny in the sixth degree, assault in the third degree, and reckless endangerment in the second degree.
Both suspects were released on a $20,000 bond.
They are scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 9 a.m.
