A UConn side story: there's no refund for customers who bought into a Jordan's Furniture promotion earlier this year.
The deal that would have had the retailer give refunds on qualifying purchases placed between January 20 and February 16, 2026, would have happened if both the UConn Men and Women's basketball teams won their Final Four games and advanced to their respective National Championships.
Now that the Women have lost, the deal is off.
Jordan's was prepared to give the money back on approximately 20,000 orders, though.
The store had taken out a $50-million insurance policy.
Back in 2007, a similar promotion put Jordan's $35-million policy to the test when the Red Sox won the World Series.
