Storrs, Conn./WTIC Radio - The 2024 NBA Draft gets underway tonight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

In Connecticut, all eyes will be on where some UConn stars will wind up.

Center Donovan Clingan, and guards Tristen Newton, and Stephon Castle are poised to be chosen in the first round.

The three are coming off a second consecutive NCAA championship at Storrs.

Clingan, the 7-2 big man out of Bristol Central High School, averaged 13 points and nearly 8 rebounds last season.

Castle, the 6-6 freshman, talled 11 points per game while Newton averaged 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Forward Alex Karaban had mulled entering the draft but instead opted to return to Storrs.
