Vernon, Conn.(WTIC Radio) - A suspect has been arrested and a second man faces charges after threatening a woman with a gun and initially refusing to allow her to leave the apartment, Vernon Police said.
According to Vernon Police, officers responded to 30 Parkwest Drive at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday. A woman told police a man, Marion Crosby, 22, was waving a gun outside the apartment, not letting her leave.
Eventually, Crosby came out of the apartment without incident, police said. A second man, Joel Garcia, 27, was also taken into custody.
Crosby is charged with Violation of a Restraining Order, Second Degree Breach of Peace, Risk of Injury, Unlawful Restraint, Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of Ammunition, Second Degree Threatening and Interfering with an Officer. His bond is $100,000.
Garcia is charged with Interfering with an Officer, Tampering with Evidence, Negligent Storage of a Firearm and Conspiracy Criminal Possession of a Firearm. His bond is $50,000.
Both men face arraignment in Rockville Superior Court today.
